Misting from Front Main Oil Seal

Hey,

I have a 2020 T6.1 which has just hit 40k on the clock.
I purchased it in Jan this year, it was brought from VW with the extended 5 year / 80,000 mile warranty.

It went in for a service and MOT last week and it's noted in the health check of 'Misting from front main oil seal', having had a search I am concerned this could turn into a bigger problem. Should I be pushing them to fix under warranty? I had seen somewhere seals weren't covered in the 'All In' but not sure if that's my cover?

The extended 5yr warranty will cover it.

Book it in and get it done before you're cover rubs out.

The T6 is known for a leaking Front main seal.
. Not heard the term misting before?

Hopefully the extended warranty covers it as my “All in” plan doesn’t cover my leaks (front crank and power steering)
