Mystery front grill… badgless with Volkswagen lettering?

A T6 drive passed me the other day which had ‘Volkswagen’ lettering across the top part of the grill instead of a badge- it looked fantastic! Any ideas where this is from or any pictures? have trawled the internet but with no joy… Thanks!

Emailed Dan at SSB and he made that one up for his van (as above) so don't think they ate fior sale. Guess you can buy a grill without the VW and add your own letters?

Very similar- however black on black grill and the lettering was on the top half of the grill. That is one nice looking van!

Has anyone thought about placing the Transporter letters across the bonnet where they’ve fitted a badge less grille? I think it’d look smart.
