Hi all, I'm just about to sell my VW Tiguan R and buy a T6.1 kombi. Really sick of lifting my ebike onto the roof every time i go out, accident waiting to happen.

Where do people recommend for insurance for these vans? It's just going to be used for personal use not work. Is there specialist insurance companies who insure modified vans. Il be looking at adding wheels, suspension and so on.. if the van i find doesn't already have them.

You won’t regret getting one for biking.
Three of us were out on Thursday and after the ride we had a brew and apple sponge and custard in a picnic area. Where else can you make a brew and warm a pan of custard post-ride?

Ye It will definitely be better just been able to get the bikes in the back with some fork mounts modified in. It’s just finding the right van now. I’m just questioning weather to buy one modified or one I can have a play with and do it myself.

Morning Nicky and welcome , I just say buy the best van you can find , condition, spec etc and worry about the modifications afterwards .
All those extras are personal choice so build something that suits YOU.
