Hi,

Purchased my first transporter a couple of weeks ago now, 2017 T32 Kombi. Hopefully pics attached. Mostly to be used as day van with family, 2 young kids and 2 shar pei.

Been spending hours reading these forums.
Just wondering if anyone can confirm the latest advice on timing belt change mileage/timescale? and also DSG oil change mileage/timescales?

My van has barely been used by the previous owner for the last 3 years (hence their sale).
Timing belt and waterpump were changed in 2021 18k miles ago and DSG oil was done 2022 6k miles ago.
Obviously well within any mileage limits but would it be recommended to get both done due to time?

No need to worry about cam belt or DSG service for a long time, enjoy your van. It looks like it's been owned by an enthusiast, which is a good sign.
I can't think of a better vehicle when you've got children and a dog.
