Hi all. Investigating service options for our brand new T6.1 SWB Highline campervan conversion, picked up this week.

Service Plan - the VW plan is £540 or £22.50 per month for 1 major and 1 minor service. Other than protection from future price rises, which seem inevitable, is this reasonable value?

Preferred Van Centre - we are in Monmouthshire, the closest 3 are noted below. Any recommendations, ideally looking for a van centre good at dealing with campervan conversions, happy to use any of the 3 below in terms of location:
1) Heritage VW Van Centre in Bristol
2) Sinclair in Cardiff
3) Vertu in Hereford

If you can wait until Black Friday, VW often do a discount on the service plan.

Too late now, but there are often service packages included in finance packages. You may not want finance, but taking it often gets you a better deal. You can settle the amount in full at any time and still keep the perks. Most settle after a couple of weeks.

As for dealers, I've used Hereford for over 20 years. They've always looked after me well. I'm guessing that the service plans you are looking at will be for the 'van' not the habitation side of things as well.

Correct, it's VW van service plans not habitation/conversion. No finance involved in the purchase of the van itself. Good to hear your positive experience of Hereford.

Interesting. I could probably wait until then, the service plan I'm looking at is for vehicles 0-12 months old. My only question is whether or not prices will sky rocket in the next year as per pretty much everything else, when I could lock in the price now for two services.
