New Van day tomorrow

Hi, I'm new here and will be picking up my (new to me) T6 tomorrow!
It's a 2018 with a couple of months left on the MOT. The company I'm buying it from said they would put a 12 month MOT on as well as a 12 month warranty.

Well, I've got everything together (insurance etc) and noticed online that it's not been done yet... should I be worried? It's low mileage and not done a lot of miles since the last one so not likely anything big would come up (hopefully)...

I'm not due to pick it up until the afternoon, so maybe it's going in first thing (I may call to check).

If it's not been done, should I not pick it up tomorrow or do I go ahead and insist they cover the cost of the MOT locally (including repairs if anything does come up).

might be worried over nothing but gather some thoughts on this

Hey Mish , maybe its booked for the morning. Exciting times mate :grin bounce:
I'd ring before you leave home and if for any reason its not done then hold off until it is .
Not long now !

I had this when I picked mine up. Was due to pick up on Saturday morning and checking the MOT on Friday said it wasn't done. Checked on Saturday morning and it showed up as having the MOT on Tuesday, so just think there is a delay showing online. Good luck with the pickup and if it has a pop-top, don't forget to check it's tied down before you leave. I didn't and had a lovely surprise when I hit about 50mph :D

The AA wouldn't accept a screenshot of my MOT certificate as proof when I needed an 'immeadiate join'. The system needed a 24 hrs period to update

I wonder what the AA would do if you were driving quite legally without a ticket to a pre booked MOT?

Thanks, I'm hoping so. No luck when checking so far but I'll call them shortly. We're getting the train up so don't want a wasted journey!
It has a pop top but one with latches, will make sure they're secured properly!
