New wheels missing hub rings potential damage?

After getting new wheels and tyres on the van last week, yesterday I realised something wasn't right .
It was the 1st time on the motorway at speeds above 60kms/hr. Before then I was only driving locally last week in traffic on slow roads.
The whole van was vibrating at speed and I could feel it through my ass and arms and see it with the steering wheel moving.
So back to the tyre place today to investigate. They start pulling off wheels and find no hub rings were fitted.
Also they didn't have a complete set of what was needed. So they fitted 1 correct ring and 3 that were close but about a mm small and have ordered the proper ones!

So my question... is this something to be concerned about? Is there potential damage to the wheels or hub or something?

Now I will tag in a few of the experts and welcome any feedback.

Thanks to all the regular posters. I have only started posting recently but have been enjoying reading up on everything T6 related for a while now.

Trying to remember without removing a bolt - but don't they have a tapered seat? In which case they will very nearly pull themselves central when tightened up. Either way, if you couldn't feel it at low speed they can't be that eccentric. From a non-mechanical background, it wouldn't bother me. There must be greater forces going through the wheel bearings on a van than a bit of up and down with the round and round.
I drove my old Discovery for ages without any spigot rings, just relying on the wheel bolts to centralise things.

This won’t have caused any damaged. You just need to fit a correct set of spigot rings and all will be ok. I’m presuming the wheels have spaces for spigots to be fitted. Once done your problems will be solved.

Yes bore is about 8mm larger so space for the rings. Thanks for the replies, that puts my mind at ease
