Hi all,

I’m a recent convert to the world of Transporters and am enjoying it so far! I owned a Mazda Bongo a number of years ago and then had cars subsequently.

I picked up a 2020 Kombi three weeks ago and proceeded to put about 3,500 miles on it through Europe. It didn’t skip a beat, apart from when I decided (for some unknown reason) to fill it with petrol rather than diesel. 6hrs and €830 later I was back on the road!

I’m not going to do too much internally, just change the passenger bench for a Captain’s seat, swap the rear bench for a 1+1+1 setup and then insulate and carpet the rear.

As threads like this are better with pictures, here we go!

Welcome to the forum mate. Hopefully you won't be making the mis-fuelling mistake again!!

Thanks, me too! I think it was stupid and costly enough that I won’t.

I’ve subsequently spent at least 30s quadruple checking that I’m putting diesel in - I think it’ll take me a while to shake the habit!
