Well hello FredFredBurger, welcome to the T6 Forum. Very sensible to be a member on the side while waiting for a truck. what have you bought and what are your intentions honourable I am sure. Do not worry about a thing, I am sure there are people ready to help you spend some cash £££.

The spending has started, flatout campervans foldy bed, insulation, seat covers, awning and the list goes on. Next job is to fit the leisure battery set up and then heated seats.

Currently looking at suspension upgrades, deciding which way to go is a minefield

Well their are some very good threads covering all aspects of the electronic side of things batteries, solar panels and al lll the charging, distribution and safety aspects. @Dellmassive is the most knowledgeable, energetic, enthusiastic and prolific poster of such matters. The only thing is the threads are very long and have many contributors most very good but it does become a little confusing. Also over the years things, technology have changed. That is where I would start read through try and make sense if your not technical or only a little and then ask advice. Take your time and I am sure advice will come along the way.

Suspension upgrades can be as much about emotionalist pressure as reality if people are trying to follow fashions of the day looks and so on. For me and my circumstances it is very much governed by where I live, property access and also my past which involved much Off Road driving. However safety, handling and comfort are all top of the list and I would not go in a direction that would compromise those things. Of course life is about compromise costs and time and considering others in our family ect. I always plum for KONI Adjustable Dampers/shock-absorbers and have used them over many years on many vehicles and types. They are very well made , rebuildable and adjustable for both effect, handling but also ware if one is a prolific traveller. Their is potentially another adjustable damping shock absorber, KW, but I know relatively little about them except for their past association with KONI but they do appear to have some interesting products. I believe @CRS Performance deals with both

There are of course other suspension outlets on here also but Bilstein is not really my bag nor going lower for fashion but their can be practical reasons for doing so such as low barriers. It would be nice for me at least, to be able to do both go up and down and drive on normal roads at normal height. That is my quandary!
