Night heater outlet positioning

Hi
Needs some diesel heater output advise please. Battery going under the seat so that’s not an option. Want to put the output as close to the position in the image but struggling to find if it’s possible from under the van or even where to drill a pilot hole to check? Any advice welcome.

Can you measure back from the two holes with daylight coming through on the driver’s step? There is also a captive nut where for the floor tie down.

It is possible to have the heater outlet hose and a leisure battery under the drivers seat, it’s what my conversion has.

Mine comes up pretty much where yours is on the pic. Slightly closer to the side of the van than you have yours. Fitted for me so can't help other than to say it's possible.

I've got mine on the same axis...just more towards the center, behind the handbrake...again, fitted OK, if a little tight getting the pipework through to the heater in the factory location

Thanks for the response. How did you root the pipe underneath the vehicle? Did it have to go underneath the engine exhaust? Heat shield? You don’t buy any chance have any images? Do you?

Here’s mine. I’d put it a little more towards the battery if doing it again.

I recall there being a heatshield being slightly in the way so i had to oval a fraction in one area and it ran tight to the underside of the floor. to be clear i installed the 2kw version which has the smaller dia (42mm?) pipe
