Feel your pain, I spent 10 months converting mine for the only two week holiday we had planned cancelled on day 1, (due to bone breaking accident, (not me)).
I've ridden my bike twice this year. I fell off one of those times at <1mph. When I got my foot caught on the peg. No damage except to right pointy finger which got trapped between bar and brake lever. Embarrassing.
