I don't think it has stop start.

The MOT certificate just says VW Transporter.

Thank you so much for the info, much appreciated, I will use the NOCO on the pos and neg terminals, and go get a battery check later to see if it has charged up, if not it's time for a new battery.

That's great @Dellmassive thank you. After my van failed to start I took it for a battery check (after jump starting) and it said 84% charged battery and 68% state of health, so I was disappointed when it didn't start. Hence the NOCO Genius 10.

So, to get back to the original question, would it be okay to connect the NOCO Genius 10 without having to disconnect the van battery (this is what I did).
