Noise from timing section.

My 2021 T6.1 has made this noise on and off since I've had it, when nearly new. As it's now got 40K on the clock, I'm not worried about it.

It’s nothing to worry about ,it’s the brake vacuum pump that is also combined on the oil pump .it disappears when warmed up ,you will notice it more when first start up and if you pump the brake pedal few times and push it down really hard you will hear it more .

Old thread but maybe fuel pump

Well the noise persists but found I may have injector seal issue so that won’t help the vaccum pump and CCV valve. Hopefully it’s getting g resolved next week so I’ll update if that has made a difference
