Not sure if this noise from the engine bay is a fault or normal?

Hi all,
After recently buying a 2021 reg T6.1 204 DSG, I've noticed that a strange noise comes from the engine when I switch the vehicle off. It can sometimes be heard when opening a door on the van, it can be quite random. Is this something that needs to be looked in to or is this normal behavior? I've uploaded a video to demonstrate the issue.

Anyone else experience this noise with their van? It's very strange and doesn't sound right to me! I'm a Transporter newbie so don't really know what's normal and what's not!

That don't sound normal to me.

Nor me. It would be normal for the van to make occasional electrical clicks or a gentle whirring after you switch off as modern engines often have a routine to go through before shutdown, but that is too loud. The best thing is run your hand over a few thing when it is doing it to feel which one it is then post a pic of the offender here. Bear in mind that the engine cooling fan can also start up after switching off so don't get your fingers chopped off in the process!

Exactly what I thought guys, thanks for the input. The van is under warranty so I'm going to get this sorted ASAP, I didn't want to take it to the van centre and them say there's nothing wrong and charge me a £135 fee, so I'm glad to hear this from fellow owners. I'm slowly learning of this vans quirks so I know what to look out for (hopefully!)
