Fair enough, no I haven’t used them so make no recommendation. Personally I always use main dealers. They any good? I’ve looked at the local firms but would love recommendations based on who people have used
Where would you go mate?I’d advise steering clear of any mr clutch tbh from past involvement,
Sorry mate but I’d do mine myself, or if you know a good independentWhere would you go mate?
Thanks, will give them a shoutI’ve had one done at Epperstone by-pass garage and one done at the main dealer at Beeston. Wasn’t a lot in it price wise as VW is fixed price hence why I went main dealer second time. But I’d happily recommend either.
Thanks, will give them a shout
Why? They a common fault?might be worth inquiring into your rear crankshaft seal while the gear box is out as a precaution
Where abouts in derby bud as I’m only down the 52I can recommend Sunset VW in Derby best independent .
Why? They a common fault?
84k jist spoke to Vw Beeston and really helpful. Told me not to worry as they to get noisy when hot from time and as mine isn’t consistent not to worry but try get a vid to save the cost of “fault finding”from what i have read in here. it seems it is so on the older models the front and rear seals can start leaking. they have a design problem and VW wont recall on it. what milage is your van to need a clutch.
