Ok. I've got home and quickly done the following:
Ignition on read OBD faults. Reset OBD faults (and engine kept off) but the following remained and couldn't be cleared when I did another diagnose:
Instrument cluster: 13654544
Central electronics: 03435
CAN network gateway: 03158
Then I disconnected the positive feed and the reverse trigger feed to the camera. Ignition on and into reverse and as expected no camera image displayed on the screen.
I then turned on the engine and kept it in Park and it went straight into the 'reverse image' screen as posted above, and no camera image. Didn't even select reverse.
I then kept the positive supply feed to the camera disconnected but connected the reverse trigger again. So the camera would be getting a negative, no positive supply but a positive reverse trigger if I select reverse. Theoretically it should not show a camera image. So, with the ignition on and put into reverse I get a camera image on the screen! Even when the positive supply feed isn't connected. This has confused me! Then when I turn the engine on and in Park it still goes straight to the above 'reverse image' screen and with no camera image. When I put it into reverse it goes to the correct reversing screen with no camera image.
The only thing I haven't had time to do is put a clean positive trigger feed to the camera - ie me manually touching it to a positive supply from the fuse box. I will try tomorrow.
I think I've written the above clearly!
