Has anyone here got or seen used the Ooono speed camera and road hazards detection system.
Seems a good price so was wondering how it performed Etc

I used to have a road angel many years back (I think it’s still around somewhere) but I think this kind of standalone device has largely been superseded by the apps now available plus my dashcam has a speed camera warning on it.

I remember having the cradle for my phone, a tomtom and this in the car, it looked like a branch of Dixons!

From a quick skim read of the website, it doesn't look to be that much different to Waze, in that other road users report hazards which then get displayed for other users to see.
And Waze is free.

Yeah, I meant that you don't have to buy Waze, it's free to download and use whereas the Ooono starts at £44.99.

I actually renewed my Saphe subscription last Sunday at £29.99 for another 12 months. I've been using their Drive Pro for a couple of years now and always found it reliable and easy to use (it's also Android Auto / CarPlay compatible but I've never bothered with that). I do like to have the numbers in front of me as well as getting audible alerts. The only pain is remembering to move it from car to car depending on what I'm driving on the day. I'd buy another one if that didn't mean having to pay for another annual subscription as wel as the subscriptions.
