Operation B14 has commenced

Looks far better that mate, how low did you decide to go?
Cheers, on way to pick it up now, 5mm from the bottom so a little left.

So just got it back home and very pleased with it. Looks great, handles great, soaks up the bumps and pot holes much better than standard, what not to like :D

Hi Russ, Looks great, where did you go in the end as I live near Evesham too.

@JimVee V-Hub in Tewkesbury, very good.
(Did you pass a black T5.1 yesterday on evesham-tewkesbury road about midday? I was in the passenger seat on way to collect mine and we passed a red/white T6.)

Cool and yes mate, went to Cheltenham with the missus to buy a telly around about that time. I know where V-Hub is and will pop in there next weekend. :)

So I’ve had my b14’s off as I got a knocking noise on front suspension after 1200 miles, had standard suspension on for 2 weeks and nothing out b14’s back in (new front struts) and knocking again any ideas?
It’s on sportline alloys and about 10-15 mm left on them
Anywhere close to stoke to check make sure they are fitted ok?

Hi
Just out of interest you all seem to be lowering to about the same level. If you did a cheaper spring only option what would the equivalent be ? H&R 5omm perhaps ?

Thanks
Blitz

You won't get that low with just springs, and quality of the ride cannot be compared.

Yes being reading some of the other threads and hard ride quality does seem to be the main issue with springs only. I guess it makes sense really. I’m going to run 20in wheels too so prob a no no then.
I think I’ll have to go B14s and pay the money

You won't regret it :)

Does anyone know if there is a reason as to why I sometimes get a slight wheel arch rub only on the passenger side when going over speed bumps....it never happens on the Drivers side?

Quick question for those running B14's, particularly on their lowest setting - have you had any trouble with speed bumps, car park ramps or any other trouble with ground clearance in general?

No, I was worried about that but had no issues at all.

No real issues, only seem to drag the factory mud flaps all the time ! Can still just get the front splitter over a normal curb (world of carbon one). No issues with speed bumps at all, as in the ones you straddle. All the way down with std Devonports

Thanks @RussGT6 and @Jon.
I'm considering 2 options right now, and one of them definitely needs me to go lower.
I've got a gas tank and a water tank underneath, but the lowest point is still the spare wheel hanger.
