I’m sure said before but been in the gutter for a while , thanks @StudleyGlass and as I have a camper conversion with a lot of weight on o/s, I think may need to tweak sides to level up and could go a bit lower on front. Just seems a bit of pain to adjust rears, will have a tinker after weekend away mountain biking at fodWelcome to the gutter @Mark Woodhouse .....height bit is easy... just slam it
Welcome to the group ....now the headache begins....how low do you go...!
What wheels have you ordered?
For height, I decided to just start at the bottom and work up where and when necessary.
For wheels - I'll tell you that I spent ages and ages trying to decide - I made my decision 2 or 3 times, and then changed my mind.
For now I'll tell you that they're gunmetal and 19" - hopefully pictures will be up after the weekend.
tease lol....19s are a wise choice
I was very close to going with 17x9 and 17x9.5 steels....
I've gone 18s steels ...hopefully I get 5 minutes spare the weekend to fit them
ATS?I look forward to seeing them.
Although mine are 19s, I don't think they look "big" due to the design, so I think they might look more like 18s.
Just read through all this thread and it seems overwhelmingly that the b14,s are the way to go , I’m going to book in for them with the uprated ARB’s also .
general opinion is up 5-10 mm from lowest setting is this the recommended for all so far ?
Looking to lower , not bothered about the slammer look I’m ore interested in getting driving and handling more positive , I’m running 18” sortline wheelsAre you after a slammed look or just looking to lower it?
What size wheels will you be running?
ARBs make a world of difference!
Had my B14's fitted back in December apparently with wheel alignment.
Just replaced my front tyres and had Hunter wheel alignment done at the same time, it was still way out, what a difference it has made, feels even better.
Bare in mind you wont get it 100% spot on because its lowered, but its much better than before.
Highly recommended when you lower your van.
Allen PMW in Pershore.Where did you get the alignment done Russ?
Allen PMW in Pershore.
I got a pair of Michelins online and Phil fitted them for me and did the Hunter alignment. He,s a BMW specialist garage but has the Hunter set up, known him for many years.Cheers mate, might pay them a visit as the front tyres are on their way out.
