Orders & delivery dates

We supply all new VW commercials.

No one has a greater influence over the ordering system than anyone else - In fact the VW system is quite random and sporadic. The worst is California's which are currently approx 6 months+. Most of the highline kombi's and panels we ordered before the end of November are all starting to arrive now.

So I and many other people found out but at the time I was told. 16-20 weeks if this is a know fact why was I and other people not told at the time. It may have not been a worry for many people who bought Cali's as well but I would have probably gone for a Kombi. Waiting 6 Months + takes the shine off getting it. Salesmen seem to just want the sale and tend to be a bit loathed to give the true details in order to get it.

Having endured that type of wait on several cars, worst was 11 months for an A3 sportback, was why I went and found an ex-demo T6 that fitted the bill.
The majority of salespeople don't care beyond getting you to sign the paperwork. With the A3, the salesperson completely failed to mention that the dealership were not allowed to place an order for several months as they had already reached their quota. So I was treated like the proverbial mushroom (kept in the dark and fed on sh*t), ignored by the dealer without an update for 4 months, and then just fed lie after lie. It was not until I marched in and gave the dealer principal what for that i actually found out that it was 5 months before they were even able to order the car!
Ultimately would not trust a single one of them, too many bad experiences on both brand new and second hand.

Blimey; where did you go?!
France ,StMalo to Grasse, then down the South French coast, right down the Spanish Coastline to Portugal, around the Portuguese coastline to Galicia, Cantabria,Picos de Europa, back down to San Sebastian, Cross into France up and around Brittany and just got home tonight.

We stayed in a great campsite in Zarautz just off the Autovia high up on the cliffs overlooking the long Surf beach, great site with great views and fabulous beach, beware ofvthe rip tides but yoy can see them in the wave breaks.
If you don't have it I can send you the lat & long & name

I know it quite well; we stayed nearby in Mundaka a while back in our last California; small waves but Bakio round the corner was on form.

We stayed further West in Rodiles last year (in the T6 Cali; the other trips were in our T5.1 Cali) and scored the most incredible lefts I have ever surfed. Then found the best restaurant we've been to in Spain nearby. Total heaven!

Love N Spain, SW France, Provence, the Pyrenees, the Picos, almost anywhere in that region!

You've got me excited about Euro trip 2017!

I know that coast really well as I lived and worked in a lot of Spain but spent just over 5 years in Galicia in Cedeira just before the beach at Pantin where there is a small surf school these days and they hold some qualifying schools there, got a lot os respect for all that North coastline.
Stunning place, we go back there at least once a year.

Yep, Pantin is a favourite of ours. Had cracking waves there last Summer too but took this photo the day it went flat!!

Beautiful, as you g from there out onto the main road, turn left down towards Cedeira and after tthe twisties just before the crusty white painted bridge over the river there is a really good Tapas bar/restaurant called "El Puntal" if you've never been in there before well worth a visit.
I'll be there with the locals this year again for the Fiesta of Sardines in mid June, just BBQ'd crates of Sardines, bread,Criollo(the local huge fat Pork Sausages) and Pork ribs till they come out your ears, always a great night, watch out for the bib at the end of the bridge into Cedeira.
