Paint flaking off and rusting

I received my new Van a week ago and on the day after delivery had it coated with the paint protection by a friend who is a paint specialist. He found a ding on the roof which i didn't see on delivery as I'm not 8ft tall and of course VW won't accept responsibility for that. My guy also found a strange lump on the A pillar that could be possible corrosion under the paint, it is very small but still not happy about it (see photo). It could just be a bit of dirt but not what you expect on a brand new van. They also fitted the wrong driver seat without armrests
Good to hear they put your vehicle right but I feel the fact it has had paint because of corrosion so early in its life they should extend your corrosion warranty.

Hope you get it sorted under the paint warranty.
There appears to be quite a lot of members that are having the wrong seats fitted.

Sorry to here you having paint issues aswell. As said above it should get sorted under the warranty. I did ask about warranty extension . The reply I got was we have noted it on your file. And any work we do is fully warranted for 3 years . From date repaired. How true this is time will only tell.
