Paint protection film to prevent stone chips and scratches

Someone has caught my front bumper on the side noticed it the other day

That really gets my goat.
I took mine into Vw last week for a couple of nigglies,
and the service girl asked if I was OCD as my vans as clean and stone chip free now as it was 8000 miles ago

I'm going to get this done asap the van isn't a daily user so most of the week it sits on the drive.
Washed it today it's got 3300 miles on the clock and has a few chips on the bonnet and bottom splitter
