Pasties

I quite like a Moore’s pasty from Exmouth. Admittedly a bit different to more ‘traditional’ ones but I did go through a stage of eating 3 a day some time back (I make my own lunch now)!

Was in Mortehoe / Woolacombe today for work, roll on things getting back to normal!

Awesome view. Must make a note of that...

Pasty update.....spanked a load of dosh on some from a bakers in Polperro, got the parents and other relatives to go in on it.

We’re meant to be going to Cornwall in May half term but can’t see it myself, based on what we‘d spend eating out when down there figured I can justify the extravagance. Might even sit in the van eating one, with the hose pipe raining on the windscreen for that genuine British holiday experience!

Polperro is lovely - we stayed there with the outlaws a few years ago. SWMBO’s parents always stay on the house next to the harbour.

The only chippy had rubbish reviews and the chips were soggy. We couldnt understand why they didnt change their cooking style?

Fish n chips sat by the sea, how lovely that would be!
washed down with a couple pints of Tribute, cant wait to get back to normal
The irony is we live less than 5mins from two beaches here, just not allowed to go to them right now

Same here, 60 seconds to the nearest beach, but we are observing lockdown too, shame that so many others feel they are exempt from the rules.

All pasties are good, made even better with brown sauce.

Can't help thinking that if I lived a minute from the beach I would probably have finished the tunnel by now even waiting the 2 days for Wickes to deliver the CLS and Stirling board timber for props... "you'll never take me alive coppers, this beach is mine!"
