Anyone know how to remove light scratches as per the pic?

Those scratches look like they’ve gone through, rather than surface ones that could be “polished out”. Sharpie pen perhaps?

If it’s gloss plastic there are plastic polishing compounds that will reduce the visibility of the scratches.
If it’s paint they can be resprayed with a rattle can.
I wouldn’t consider gloss painting any high traffic area, it’s going to be an ongoing problem.

If for no other reason than the UK Buzzweld reserves being somewhat depleted at the moment!

Give them a whack of Buzzweld then. It it is “high traffic” I’d go for an etch primer first
