An update on the shower button presser. I had to replace the nuts and bolts that came with the suction cups, as one of the original nuts came loose in the shower and was lost. I have replaced them with M4 stainless machine screws and locking nuts...

Not cheap.
In the region of £130 to £180.
But it has transformed our usage in Autumn/Winter/Spring. It's like having a hightop. Sound, wind, rain, cold, all blocked.
After three years of use, our Pucer screen has developed a crease, with the silvering coming away along the crease. Doesn't affect the protection but does look a bit unsightly.
I've recently gone over it with that aluminium foil tape you can get. Should be good for another few years.

We bought a Rainbow Screens cover for our Reimo pop-top. It fits well (as it should because they ask you to measure even for established pop-tops) and is good at keeping the weather out. It definately helps with the insulation, but just having the roof up makes a huge difference to the amount of heating required. We usually use an 800W oil-filled radiator when on EHU, and this struggles in cold weather with the roof up even with the wrap fitted. I’m not sure how well it would cope in the Alps in winter, so I will probably keep the roof down. Mind you, I’ve not tried it with the Webasto going yet …

The Webasto will keep you toasty warm, you'll be stripping off if you don't turn it down!
We don't leave ours running overnight, even when at freezing point in the UK.
But then, we were brought up in a time when ice on the inside of the bedroom window was a regular occurrence!
