Portable solar panel connection help

Thanks. Very neat but never soldered in my life , that's a shame. Think it'll be male to male plug , xt60 lead to mc4 l and then mc4 lead to bare lead to go into the victron. Cost me a fortune in leads .

perhaps something like that? Perhaps with this no soldering is needed, perhaps just crimping. It depends on your setup I think, e.g. how far is your port away from the victron.....

Thanks for all your help guys. One more quick query if I may ... Just got the solar panel out on the deck , nice sunny morning so thought I'd test it with a multimeter...so out the sensors in the xt60 plug , got readings of around 22 volts give or take. But on an amp reading a big fat zero ? Shoudnt be like that surely. Plug the phone into usb on the back of the panel and it charges phone though. Any thoughts ?

No circuit / no load / nothing to charge = no current.

I was thinking it was because of an open circuit but the phones charging confused me , but that's a separate circuit I suppose. Big learning curve as you can see thxs
