So I have the annoying scratches appearing on my T6 Caravelle NS sliding door trim and the rear wheel arch.

Current price is £36 inc delivery to the UK for a pair of mounting posts and panel clips to replace 'deleted' mounting posts on the T6 trim panel - the matching fixing hole is already in the sliding door. So two kits to do both doors would be £72.
Has this approach of 'pulling the middle of the panel back to where it should be' been tried by anyone?
There's a certain attraction to £15 of off brand velcro tape and a short length of batten versus £72 for a plastics kit to do both sliders ......
Has anyone bought this set or done something similar and did it fix the sliderscratches issue?
