Fantastic song. The story of Mama Cass was so sad, she was only 32 when she died

There is an awsome programme on sky catchup / sky-arts/ all music/documentaries/California Dreaming',
God the Uk was so globally cool then; and the Beatles started it all, worldwide (open for debate), I think we can do this again - post brexit (don't want to get political) Mama Cass died shortly after selling out, and getting standing ovations in London; she died a happy woman. WOW

I agree that the 60's U.K music scene was exceptional. I love listening to Brian Matthew on Radio 2 on Saturdays

yep, pure west coast, pre Beach Boys, and their big influence was UK - Beatles

Must have listened to this song literally hundreds of times and I never get sick of it. The sax solo is a thing of beauty. Sound quality on the YouTube link isn't the best, sounds o.k through decent headphones though.
