Prime Day 2023

There do appear to be some offers around this year, if not as good as previous years judging by older posts.

Quite a few discounts on Noco jump starters and chargers, also on a number of Ecoflow units. A few Alpicool ones too.

I don't think the discounts are rush to buy, but if you are looking for something and you have Prime they're enough to be useful.

Couple of things that caught my eye:

The Swarey branded version of my little Beaudens power pack, seriously considering a second one to see if I can strap it under a seat and find a point to tap into to charge it - possibly the towbar feed.

The 10A CTEK charger. I've used CTEK for years on event batteries and I'm wondering with our light power use if I could just tuck this by the battery and have a simple EHU setup. Reading through Dellmassive's extensive thread they seem to be happy with being connected to a battery under mild load.

I did wonder about a Noco jump pack, but in some ways if I have the CTEK and a small power pack I should be good to self charge in an emergency.

Anyone spotted anything else good?

Well that annoying!

The Alpicool is on my "want to buy one but don't really need one" as we have a reasonable electric coolbox and don't need multi day fridge at the minute, but it's tempting...

Which one did you go for? I'm trying to figure out if we can lodge one between the front seats.

We've yet to use it camping - or first trip away in the van is this weekend coming. But from our test at home with it plugged into our jackery, I think it will work really well for us.
We can also move it into the awning and use our mobile EHU cable for longer trips.

Aargh the power of the T6 forum and persuasion ... Tempted also for another noco....mine has had some use!

And now an alpicool.... Cracks me up how they can't deliver to NI though.... Oh well will get in Scotland later in week!

Anyone see any good prime deals/recommendations for a dash cam?

So I have a basket full of stuff and I'm torn on the charger choice. I want a decent charger that I can use as a basic EHU so it needs to be happy doing float/supply as well as charge.

I run 3 smaller CTEKs already for event batteries so have a variety of adaptors to 12v cigarette, 50A Anderson and extension leads.

One option is the 10A CTEK, but mildly put off because it has a 2 year warranty, so considering the 7A CTEK with a 5 year - both have supply modes. Both are on Prime deals.

The alternative is the 5A Victron - the 15A is probably a little above my budget - not on prime deals but will do lithium in the future and has neater app stuff.

Well... First time out and impressed. Came into its own. Electrics had tripped at caravan so at least I had a nice cool beer to ease cleaning out a blue mouldy fridge! Guessing to use as one fridge set to 0 degrees?
