@Mike Dean you cant do that unfortunately. The EHU port is 240vac mains voltage. most solar setups are 12v dc voltage and need connecting to the vans battery. as an example have a look at this, you put it out in the sun and clip it to you battery : EDIT 2021 : - The RED battery connection...

After this has been hijacked by the Renogy sales team (who probably get referral bonuses), I'm using a pair of the PV Solar Flexi panels on my roof. 2 X 60w for my solar needs. I'm upgrading the charger itself in December so hope to get a better idea of how efficient they are. They work well so far and have been keeping the battery charged, which has now died but overall, pretty good I think.

i find that 100W per 100ah SLA battery is under powered for my needs.

i tend to go for 200w solar per 100ah SLA.

but that is running two compressor fridges, camp lighting and tons of USB chargers etc
