Range Rover 19” Space Savers

Dragging up an old thread!

I've just picked up a set of banded RR's but need spigot rings and bolts. From the above posts T6180 says he used his original bolts and Grim Reaper says you need RR style bolts.

Spigot rings is straight forward, but the conflicting info on bolts is confusing me.

Can anyone clarify what wheel bolts I actually need?

Like I said in my last post, you need to look at the shape of the seating area on the wheels to make the selection of which type of bolt you require.
Standard VW bolts have a radiused or ball seating surface. Aftermarket wheels often have a conical seat, Range Rover wheels have a flat seat area and the bolt extends through the wheel.
What shape are on the wheels you have?
You then need to determine what length is required to get through the wheel and sufficiently far enough into the threads on the hubs without bottoming out so that torquing the bolts actually clamps the wheels to the hubs and doesn't just tighten to the bottom of the threaded holes and let them rattle around.
The spigot rings centre the wheels on the hubs when the hub is smaller than the centre bore of the wheel, this should take most of the weight of the vehicle, the bolts just hold the wheel onto the hub once its supported by the spigot that sticks out from the hub face.
