I know they don't cost the earth, but before I buy one brand new, just wondering if anyone has an RCD330 unit they are no longer using and willing to part ways with.

What are you doing to them? The problem is limited options for the budget endAs someone who has been through two of these units, I'd consider a better unit
First One: USB port collapsed rending Apple Play useless
Replacement unit: No longer turns on/off with ignition. Randomly turns off whilst driving. Steering Wheel controls no longer work
Hmm. I've definitely heard mixed reviews. But I've also seen lots of units on ebay falsely being advertised as RCD330 when actually they are RCD360 (have no 3.5 jack socket at front). Apparently RCD360 are of much lower build quality as far as I can gather.
You might be right. I'm definitely no specialist on these! Read a reddit thread which mentioned RCD360s being cobbled together from seconds/spare parts from other units, whereas RCD330 is actually OEM VW kit from China/Latin America.
No idea what to belive to be honest! I kust want a cheap, reliable unit which had carplay!

Fully working with latest FW installed. It is a NoName 187B like from the RCD330.com website. It has all of the necessary cables. And it has the from supplier rear USB mod.

Hi, I posted my last the message as I was doing some work away not expected much back.
I’m really sorry that I could only just get a chance to sort something out with this.
There have been a few of you PM’d me so I’ll post here and you can all hopefully all get a chance to see and reply.
Since it has only been used for a few months. I would be after £200 ONO. It comes with the quad lock adapter which cost me £40 (if I remember correctly).
So not bad deal.
I also have a wireless CarPlay adapter that I can offer for a few quid if you would like.
TBH it didn’t work great with the head unit often crashing when calls came through hence why I moved on. But standard screen maps and music etc work fine. Let me know.

Thanks @Neilfenstein when you say it crashed when taking calls, was that down to the car play adapter or an actual issue with the head unit?
I only ever used it with the adapter. My layout etc wasn’t ideal for plugging in.
All the users on the rcd330 forums don’t report this issue but it was a deal breaker for me. I was trying to be transparent
