Rear axle stand points

Has anyone used this point to bear the van’s weight on axle stands? It’s the vertical plate on the chassis that the anti-roll bar is bolted to. I need to jack the fan from the standard jacking points and lower it on to axle stands so that I can get both rear wheels off.

I’ve searched for other threads and I see that lots of people opt for ramps and mini lifts, but these just aren’t an option for me.

TIA

I tried to summarise things over here:

The only comment I'd give is that the consensus seems to be the anti roll bar may not have the strength to support the weight without damage. However if you're using 2 stands as pictured and it's belt and braces then that would seem sensible, your not going to worry about damage if the main stand slips but the anti roll bar one stops the van dropping on you.

Consider if you need both sides up at the same time as well, might it be more stable and better weight sharing doing one at a time?

Just beware that if you only jack up one side, then the anti-roll bar will be under significant tension. That can make things rather difficult as I've found out in the past

Recently when I did my rear brakes, I jacked under the wishbone at the point circled in yellow, put the axle stand under the jacking point shown in green, & lowered the van onto the axle stand & removed the jack.

I’m not proposing to put the axle stand under the anti-roll bar itself, just under the chassis plate that it is bolted to. I don’t want to have an axle stand in the left position under the jacking point.
