Rear brake piston wind-back, '67' reg.

I am expecting to have the rear pads flagged by VW Heritage an the imminent MOT.
I have bought the pads and fluid ready for a DIY job.
My Haynes manual, that covers up to 2015 says to wind back both pistons CLOCKWISE. I have bought a tool for it.
However, a local VW camper builder said one side is clockwise, the other is anticlockwise and I need a tool that can be set up either way.
Can someone tell me which it is, please?
It is a 2017 T6 Trendline.
Thanks.

good question . .

in the kit you get both winders (clockwise & anti clockwise)

i cant remember if they both use the same wind backs?

If JustKampers are selling that tool it would suggest that a single motion (be it clockwise or anticlockwise) would do both sides.
I'd like to know for sure myself tbf as changing pads is something I've always done myself but have never changed rear pads that need a tool like this. If you do need both tools does anyone know which side is clockwise?

I used the same tool (borrowed from a mate) for both sides, both wind the same way, if I remember correctly, clockwise.

Ok. That makes sense as I have seen another tool used on youtube and it appears to be the same both sides.

Thanks all. I will report back if this is wrong.
