Morning all.
Had rear wheel bearing changed. Mate who did it for me cleaned out the recess that the cover cap fits in to ensure that the tool to pull new bearing back in did not jam in place. After finishing we found the cover cap is loose and does not stay in place (the rust removed with fibre abrasive discs has made hole larger obviously) looking at other side of van the other cap is missing! I was thinking of cleaning the recess of all grease and gluing cover caps back in with silicon or similar. The cap is obviously there to help prevent bearing end getting too wet and protect the abs sensor so am keen to do something but forget replacing the trailing arms! Have sprayed some grease in there for now...
