I can't make my mind up,i like the look of a spoiler on some mostly swb,not sure on a lwb...

I'm sure if you go to a decent supplier and ask to try one they should be more than willing to let you rest one on your van to see how you feel,
or ask a trader at one of the many shows.

Bought spoiler for barn doors from here my spray guy told me to check fit, and was impressed. Not fitted yet getting pop top first.

Putting a spoiler on with tiger seal tomorrow. Do I need to key the surfaces up first??

i used 2000 grit wet and dry , but lets face it , it doesn't matter you will never get it off again anyway even if you wanted to.......

I’d always go for ABS plastic, wouldn’t touch FG. Can get OE in base colours white & black for £200 ish from dealer.

Tiger seal alternative:

Master Seal Wet on Wet Speed Bond Body Kit & Spoiler Bond | T5 / T6 Exterior Styling | Transporter HQ

Don’t recommend using tins of paint to weigh down the spoiler, one fell off and covered the garage & porch in one coat Ronseal fence paint! 3hr clean up job!

Evening everyone,

I've taken the plunge and bought a rear spoiler (barn door) from a well known online retailer.

When I unpacked it this evening, I have found a few imperfections on it, such as on the corner tips and other little areas. Has anyone else had or noticed these imperfections?

I presume it is because they are plastic moulded and made in large batches. It is also primed ready to be painted.

I'd be interested to know of any experiences or am I just being too OCD.

Yes, I had the same issue!
Phoned them and sent pictures, replacement arrived within a week! Excellent service.

Well i suppose if its primed and ready to be painted . . . . . . . Then it's not the final finish. . . . . .

But I understand where your coming from.

There're not too bad, the ends of mine were completely flat.
The other marks will be hidden with the copious layers of paint you'll have to apply
