Recommendations for DSG / Driveshaft fix

I've had the driveshaft strip the splines, and lost drive completely. My local garage has said the gearbox end needs addressed too, which is a job he recommends I find a specialist for.

Has anybody on here recommendations for where I should approach? I'm based near Tewkesbury in West Midlands, and prepared for a bit of a 'wallet ouch'
