Recommendations for heavy-duty tent pegs

We use rock pegs and find them excellent for getting through hard packed gravel surfaces as well as grass pitches. Got a smaller than average steel lump hammer from Winfields of Haslingden camping shop which is a bit easier to transport and very effective.

One set is in a yellow box, branded Via Mondo Outdoor. These look like big nails with a small steel crossbar welded near the blunt end. The other set I can't remember the name sorry but they come in a black zip pouch and look like big nails with yellow moulded hook bits slid onto them, got these from Go Outdoors shop.

Thank you.

We bought rock pegs with a twist in the shank , much better than a plain shank and dont pull.out so easy .
To remove them you give them a little bit of a twist and they free up and pull straight out ...i forget the make though
We bought some more that look identical but the top isnt fixed and so the twist doesnt free them ....claw hammer needed to get them out .
Red plastic X section pegs for soft ground.
If its likely to get massively windy we wouldnt be putting an awning out .
