Remap MPG

There is no way on earth any map would give an extra 13mpg - 4 is about right.

I had a Bmw 330 d sport did around 35mpg after remap got 50mpg every time this was motor driving and no lead foot.

Funnily enough I had my 330d remapped, did 41mpg motorway all day long and it went up to 44mpg and I drove it with a lead foot before and after mainly motorway. It would only do 35mpg around town.

Fyi - It was mapped to 290bhp

Nice motor . I had an economy map because I did excessive motor miles. Or my on board computer was broken. I have a picture of on board computer some were I’ll dig it out.

Im not disputing the 50mpg - but having done 20,000 miles on standard setup averaging 41mpg im not sure how driving sensibly you got 35mpg - you sure you werent going 130mph everywhere and just didnt notice lol

Mine was a manual btw - pretty rare and took me a while to find it.

Sorry didn’t mention mine was an E46 model with the 204 engine as stock don’t no if that make any difference to the newer model like yours. I’m not a fast driver all my mate call me captain slow lol

I think that engine was labelled a 325d on the E90.

All I know is that it turned into a beast and made such a lovely noise - Probably may fav car and that was followed by a 335d so says something.

It’ll help. I tow a big trailer regularly, and the way that the torque is delivered after remap really improves towing, not having to go down the gearbox as much.

Had 150 DSG remapped, was awful before round town now same if not worse 22mpg. In the motorway 80mph 26mpg 70mph about 31mpg Might get the map checked as seems really low mpg

There must be an underlying fault with your vehicle for it to be so bad before and after.
