Remote control but what for?

My wife and I recently took ownership of a pre owned T6 camper van. It has a remote control in the living area and we can’t figure out what it’s for. Does anyone else have a remote control in their van similar to the one in the picture and, if so, what does it control?

Yes, I saw that page too after doing a reverse image search on Google. I just wondered if anyone else had one and what they were using it for.

I did wonder about the garage gate suggestion, but it is stored in the back of the van, next to the back seat/bed. It actually has a little wall mounted bracket that it slides into. If it were being used for a garage gate, you would surely want it within easy reach of the driver?

I used to use cheapo remotes to switch heaters on.
