Repair or replace door card?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone's knows if there is a way of fixing this passenger door card or am I going to need to replace it? It has been quite badly scratched, somehow, and it is quite annoying

You might be able to improve it with a hot air gun gently wafted over the area, but replacement is the only real fix to scratches on that finish. (Mrs Loz's new smart came with scratches on the inside door handle that has the same finish, so had to pressure the dealer to replace it )
