The injector clamps are held down with stretch bolts these should be replaced when the injector seals are so need to find out if been done

I’ve noticed it getting slightly noisier recently again. Pulled up on a hill today and noticed a smell of oil and some smoke. Think it ran out on to the exhaust. Still driving ok but somethings not right.

Cheers bud that would make sense as they say they replaced the injector seals last time. And I seem to have oil sat in both holes (looks like a spark plug hole in a petrol almost) engine was way quieter when done last time. But gradually got noisier from there on.

A mate changed his Transit injector seals the other day, he plastered the seals in high temp grease which blew out leaving the two injectors leaking. I guess you’ve already tried tightening down on the clamp?

Cheers bud to be honest it’s something I know nothing about so am nervous messing. If it’s just a matter of checking tightness I would give it a try but anything deeper I wouldn’t attempt. Just worried it’s something worse now.
