Hi all…. @Dellmassive …my van was ex demo came with lots of toys including factory Sunroof …never had an issue with blocked drain as it’s never gets dirty

No I don't think a WV dealership will do it...


They will be factory only... Appart from very basic retro fits.... Like a towbar for example.


The only way will be a 3rd party retrofit specialist.... But it will be mega dollars.


Technicaly it's possible.... But finding someone to price you up and do it will be the issue.....plus finding a doner van for the bits will be almost impossible..... So it might be OEM new parts only?.

£325.00 fitted he had a video on youtube too, Southwest sunroofs.
Took an hour to fit.

Just search sunroof T6 on youtube and you will find it, also he's on facebook.
I searched sunroof on this forum and he popped up on there too.
Think he's the man to go to as peeps from all over the country have taken their T5/T6's to him for sunroof fitting.

Has anyone done a retrofit of a sunroof?
Van is black and needs a roof vent. Miss my last t6 which had a sunroof so wondering if anyone had retrofitted a vw sunroof, how complicated was it and what parts are needed?

We haven't fitted a sunroof but have removed one for a customer to then have a pop top... Even the removal and getting the appropriate headliner parts was a much harder job than you would first think, so would imagine fitting a sunroof to be a right pain!!
