Hi team!
Installing the OE kit from carsystems.eu into my shuttle.
I have managed to work most of it out so far thanks to this forum, but I have 2 quick questions:
1) Which grommet is used for access to the inside of the van? I found two pretty large ones near the exhaust area. One the faces downwards (I.e grommet is parallel with the ground) and another that faces inwards towards the centre of the van (I.e grommet is perpendicular to the ground.) I have some fish tape, but could not find a route into the van bearing in mind it’s a shuttle and has this blocking access:
2) I managed to cut the holes in the factory locations using a parking sensor hole punch, but the double sided tape supplied on the sensor mounts is rubbish! I cleaned the back side of the bumper with soap, water and dishwashing sponge. I then dried it with a towel, then wiped it off with isopropyl alcohol. They were all nice and clean but I have 0 confidence they will stay stuck.
Any ideas?
