Retrofit OE Auto Headlights

My 4Motion has Auto Wipers and auto dimming rear view mirror, but has a standard light switch. I'd like to retrofit auto headlights but do it as OE as possible. Because I have the rain sensor etc, I'm assuming that this should be fairly straight forward yet I cannot find any detail on this. Does anyone know what additional wiring I'd need to do & programmign in VCDS outside of buying the OE Switch.

Have you had the van from new?
Looking at this thread it would appear that the auto lights are part of the pack that includes auto wipers.

Can anyone tell me what you get in this pack please. I’m asking because my van apparently has it, although I have no idea what i should expect as a result of this. I’ve looked at the old brochure but can’t see it listed as a thing....

My first port of call would be to swap the light switch for one with the auto function and see if it works. Maybe previous owner swapped it out?
See if you can find someone local to do a quick swap. Only takes a few seconds.

Does anyone know if you can retrofit the auto lights if you don't have the light/rain sensor? I didn't add them to my startline when ordering! Doh! Always something I've wanted to sort out!

There are plenty of aftermarket auto light conversions that have the new switch and a little sensor that you put somewhere on or around the dashboard.
Also it can be retrofitted as per factory spec but no doubt expensive.
