RIB 112 - Side Sliding

I saw a YouTube video, which showed a converted van. It was a high quality finish.

The van though had what appears to be a RIB 112 bed, it slid forward and backwards - in addition though, it also slid sideways, out from the van wall.

The frame underneath stayed fixed.

Anyone know if this is something custom, or standard if you buy a 112, with sliding base?

Thanks.

I've seen something similar in a Transporter, but with 2 single beds/seats - one at each side of van (with a walkway in-between). These can either be used as 2 x singles or you can slide each towards the centreline of the van to form a double bed. Pretty sure someone on here has/had that set-up - I'll see if I can dig it out.

I think it was the setup in @Mick's old van I was thinking of...

...and it seems @Irvine101 has something similar too...

Suggests to me that it's a standard option rather than a custom solution.

Bav is correct, our van was based on a standard layout by Bodans (their Clee conversion) , which they then tweaked for us slightly

There are quite a few converters who offer this layout option

The Rib 60 Neptune bed is available as side sliding as an optional extra when ordering. The cost increases as it has extra metal framing.

That was what I had in my van. With a rear raising pop top with a double bed.
