Rib altair parcel shelf strength..?

Hi all,
I'm considering a full width, rib altair bed. I was wondering if anyone knows what sort of weight the parcel shelf can hold at the back whilst in the seat configuration. I want to be able to use my van to work out of during the week and also camping. It would be great if I could store tools in boxes on top of the parcel shelf at the back if it can handle a bit of weight.
