Rib Bed fitting

Hi all, I’m looking at fitting a Rib bed as part of our conversion, but before I get to far down the road is the bed fitted on top of the ply/flooring or does it need bolting to the metal of the van floor then the ply/flooring cut around it.
Also does it need fitting by a company to get a certificate for the isofix, safety and insurance.

Can be fitted to flooring as it's bolted right through to a new support bar.

depeds on the ply floor thickness and youll need to install packers under the bolt down points. A company doesn nee to fit it as such but should something happen in a crash you may have to explain to insurance that its a DIY job. Having a credited company fit them you have piece of mind that all is done correctly. cheers
