Trying to settle on a 130cm wide bed option that when folded down allows enough space for the dog bed on the floor behind front seats.

What have dog owners got fitted in their SWB that means they're not having to share their bed space....or is that futile anyway

Looks like RIB is the best option but with things like Vulcan, does that space behind the front seats get used with the bed folded down?

Hi, does it allow you to recline the seat backwards from the initial vectical position? I'm more interested in this rather then pushing it flat down

We have an Evolution Evo R rock and roll bed with floor rail. Really good solution as easy to use and the headrests are built into the seats so the cushion gap is not straight, which means you don’t notice it. With Duvalay bedding it is fantastic. We have a Kong hammock type seat cover that worked well in our SUV (2 terriers) and in the VW but just ordered from FUNNYFUZZYUK a dog bed / carrier that will squish between the front seats when travelling (our boy keeps trying to get there anyway). It opens out to bed when you need it to. You could equally move seat/bed up to trap it between bed and front seats when travelling so restricting movement. They have LOADS of options and good discounts now so take a look.

Yeah the seat isn’t vertical, like the original seat was.

One more question- can you move it from orginal vertical to incline when needed or is it fixed in the incline?

There’s no option for having it in the original vertical position. It was in the van when I bought it, but I would definitely recommend it, much better seating position and it’s great to lay flat to put up and lower the pop top without turning the twin seat.
