Rodent chewed Vacuum pipes

I’ve had a couple of the vacuum pipes chewed by a rodent I’ve replaced the damaged pipes but I feel like something is missing on the vacume line as there is a pipe that is pulling in air and it doesn’t seem to be right to me! Can anyone tell me if there is anything missing off the end or if it should have another pipe? All was runnning fine until emissions light came on and I found the chewed pipes. if anything is missing can anyone tell me what as I dont believe it should be pulling in air so what’s missing! Thanks

Thank you for the diagram it looks like a bit is missing! The mice must of chewed it and carried it away as I can’t see anything and the end looks like it’s got teeth marks on the end of the plastic ! It was inside my barn!
